Jewellery Care
Jewellery Care
Many factors can influence the wear and tear of jewellery. You should take the same care of your jewellery as you would your favourite piece of clothing. Here are some important tips to help you keep your jewellery looking its best so that you can enjoy wearing it for years.
In order to ensure that your E L A London jewellery is kept in its best condition, please take note of the following recommendations:
Clean as often as needed using a polishing cloth on any metal parts to reduce tarnish. Please keep in mind that due to personal pH levels of some people’s skin, jewellery may tarnish more quickly for some. Since exposure to air can also oxidize jewellery, we recommend storing jewellery in a pouch rather than keeping it exposed to the air.
Due to the nature of raw brass chain and brass rings and charms within our E L A Collection, you may see slight variations in the colour on this particular style. In order to remove any tarnishing and even out the colour, you can use the polishing cloth we recommend above. E L A London jewellery is packaged carefully in complimentary pouches and protective boxes. We hope that you use these as an easy storage option to keep your pieces safe. The elegant presentation also offers a beautiful alternative to gift-wrapping.
Please try to avoid excessive exposure to water and sunlight. We recommend no perfume sprayed directly on product and removing your jewellery before washing dishes, showering, heading to the beach, etc. Any styles made of leather should never be exposed to water.
All our E L A sterling silver jewellery is rhodium plated which protects the silver from exposure and helps reduce long-term tarnishing.
Please note - E L A London will not be held responsible for any damages that may occur by foregoing the above recommendations.
