E L A REWARDS CARD LOYALTY SCHEME (only valid in store for now).

These terms and conditions govern the E L A London Rewards loyalty scheme operated by Caramel & Bake Ltd of 219 Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, London SW3 2EJ (Company No 9394250) (“E L A London ”) under which cardholders earn E L A London Rewards points on certain E L A London purchases and receive other membership benefits in accordance with the terms below (the “ SCHEME ”).

MEMBERSHIP

On joining the Scheme, each member (“Member”) will be issued an E L A London Rewards card (“Rewards Card”) which will entitle the Member to participate in the Scheme. Rewards Cards remain the property of E L A London.

Rewards Cards are limited to one per person and are for personal use by the registered cardholder only. Rewards Cards cannot be shared or distributed or used for commercial purposes.

E L A London reserves the right to suspend or cancel a Rewards Card, any benefits, or membership to the Scheme, if E L A London believes the Rewards Card is not being used in accordance with these terms and conditions.

COLLECTING E L A London REWARDS POINTS

Members earn E L A London Rewards Points on qualifying purchases at E L A London (as defined below in ‘Qualifying Purchases and Exclusions’) and depends on the Members’ level of spend during each calendar year (from

1st January to 31st December). Please see the E L A London Rewards section on www.elalondon.com for further details. E L A London reserves the right to substitute and/or change these spend levels at any time in its discretion.

Any increased points per £1 spent will take effect on the day after the purchase which takes a Member’s expenditure into a higher threshold and the increased points will not apply retrospectively to any of the previous day’s purchases within that higher threshold.

Members must present the Rewards Card at the time of payment in order to collect E L A London Rewards Points.

Requests to add E L A London Rewards Points from transactions where the Rewards Card was not presented at the time of purchase will be considered on a discretionary basis and E L A London reserves the right to limit the number of these transactions added to the Rewards Card. Points may only be earned on purchases made by the Member.

If a Member is given a refund or other financial adjustment on any transaction, the E L A London Rewards Points awarded on the transaction will be adjusted accordingly.

QUALIFYING PURCHASES AND EXCLUSIONS

Subject to the exclusion of certain products and brands, Members can earn E L A London Rewards Points on purchases made only at the E L A London Knightsbridge Store.

CASH REWARD

At the end of each calendar year, the E L A London Rewards Points earned during that year will be converted to a cash-equivalent, with a value corresponding to £5 for each 500 E L A London Rewards Points earned (“Cash Reward”).

The Cash Reward will be credited onto the Member’s Rewards Card and shown in the current cash balance on their account (“Current Cash Balance”). The Cash Reward is available for redemption from 1st February until 31st July in the year in which it is issued. Any remaining Cash Reward after this period will expire.

To redeem the Cash Reward, the cardholder must make a purchase at our E L A London Knightsbridge store by 31 July in the year in which it is issued, present their E L A London Rewards card at the time of purchase, and advise the sales associate that they wish to spend their nominated amount of Cash Reward.

The Cash Reward cannot be used on excluded products/brands including gift cards and or elalondon.com . Please contact our Customer service Team or ask in - store for full details.

Members in certain Membership Tiers (see ‘E L A London Rewards Benefits’ below) can convert their E L A London Rewards Points into Cash Rewards at any time by contacting our Customer service Team or logging into their online account. Any unconverted E L A London Rewards Points remaining at the end of the calendar year for such Members shall be converted into a Cash Reward in accordance with the conversion processes applying to all Members.

E L A London REWARDS BENEFITS

Members will receive benefits (“Benefits”) according to their level of spend in a calendar year (1st January to 31st December). For details about the level of spend required for each membership tier (“Membership Tier”) and Benefits for each Membership Tier please see below or contact our Customer Service Team. Benefits are subject to availability and E L A London reserves the rights to substitute and/or change the Benefits at any time in its discretion.

  • 3 Points earned for every £1 spent

  • Complimentary UK Standard delivery

  • Complimentary tea or coffee with chocolates

  • Two extra 10% discount days per year

  • Complimentary basic alterations

  • Anytime Rewards points redemption

    The above benefits are subject to change at E L A London’s discretion and subject to the following terms and conditions. To take advantage of these benefits, you must present a valid Rewards card when requested:

    Points earned for every £1 spent – earn points for every £1 you spend at E L A London. Every 500 points will be converted into £5 Cash Reward, which will be loaded onto your E L A London Rewards card each February for you to spend in-store. Further terms and conditions apply to the Cash Reward. See ‘Cash Reward’ above for further details.

    Exclusive discount days - enjoy an exclusive discount on your purchases at E L A London on specially selected days throughout the year. Specific products/brands exclusions apply.

    Extra Rewards points on specially selected days – earn even more Rewards points on your purchases at E L A London on selected days.

    Complimentary gift boxes (subject to availability) – one gift box per Member per day, redeemable when requested on the day of purchase only. Excludes gift wrapping, for eligible Members only, not for sale or re-sale.

Complimentary UK Standard delivery - for purchases of £500 or over. Standard delivery of 3-5 working days for mainland UK only. Not valid on Jewellery and Gift Cards.

Complimentary tea or coffee in-store – One complimentary tea or coffee per Member per day.

Two extra 10% discount days per year – your choice of two extra 10% days per calendar year, per Member in E L A London Knightsbridge only (online through your Rewards account or Contact us by email 48 - hours prior notice required. Not valid during 10% weekends; cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. Specific products / brands exclusions apply.

Anytime Rewards points redemption - convert your E L A Rewards points into a Cash Reward at any time (online through your Rewards account or Contact us). Further terms and conditions apply to the Cash Reward. See ‘Cash Reward’ above for further details.

UPDATES AND CHANGES TO THE PROGRAMME

E L A London has the right to terminate the Programme or makes changes to the terms of the Programme at any time. E L A London will not be liable for any resulting loss or damage. For up-to-date terms and conditions, Members should refer to E L A London Terms & Conditions. A Member will be deemed to have accepted any changes or variations by the continued use of a Rewards Card.

E L A London may at any time and in its absolute discretion refuse or revoke any Member’s membership of the Scheme in which case that Member’s E L A London Rewards Points will be forfeited and any unused Current Cash Balance may be cancelled.

GENERAL

Members are personally liable for any and all fees, costs, charges, claims or liabilities (including taxes) of whatever nature arising from their membership of the Scheme.

Members shall notify the E L A London Customer Service Team
of any change of address or other personal details and of any damage, theft or loss of a Member’s Rewards Card.

E L A London shall not be liable for any damage, theft, loss or unauthorised use of any Member’s Rewards Card, Cash Reward or Current Cash Balance and Members are strongly advised to keep their Rewards Cards safe and secure.

If there is any difference between the terms and conditions as set out on elalondon.com and other information provided in relation to the Scheme, the terms and conditions on elalondon.com will prevail.

These terms and conditions do not affect Members’ statutory rights.

These terms and conditions are governed by English law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

PRIVACY AND YOUR DATA

E L A London is the data controller of any personal information it collects about Members in relation to the Scheme. Any personal information will be used in accordance with data protection legislation, other applicable laws and these terms and conditions.

By participating in the Scheme, E L A London will collect and store any information provided by the Member to E L A London on enrolment in the Scheme and information relating to the Member’s transactions, purchases and participation in the Scheme. This will include personal data about the Member including their name, address and purchases from E L A London . E L A London may also collect any publicly available information about the Member to help E L A London to make decisions about the products and services that a Member may be interested in.

E L A London will use a Member’s personal information for the following purposes: a) administering the Scheme (including the provision of Member Benefits), which may include the sharing of information with carefully selected third party partners to assist with the operation of the Scheme ; b) where the Member has provided their consent, offering products and services that are likely to be of interest including special events, offers, promotions, publications and catalogues by post, email, phone and/or through any social network and c) market research and statistical analysis.

EXCLUDED FROM E L A London REWARDS
Qualifying Purchases/Cash Reward:
Members cannot earn E L A London Rewards points for, or spend their Cash

Reward on Gift Cards and gift vouchers.
Exclusive Discounts: Members cannot use their discount for Fine Jewellery, Gift Vouchers and Gift Cards. These discount days cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion, or exchanged for cash. BONUS E L A London REWARDS POINTS

Members may be eligible to receive bonus E L A London Rewards Points on certain qualifying purchases from time to time. Bonus points offers are subject to the terms and conditions below as well as any additional terms and conditions that may apply to the individual offer. Bonus points are not available in conjunction with any other offer (including customer 10% days). Members must present their Rewards Card at the time of redeeming the offer.

Happy Birthday bonus points: Members can earn bonus points during the week in which their birthday takes place, being a six - day period from Monday to Saturday (inclusive). Bonus points will be earned on most transactions subject to presentation of the Members Rewards Card at the time of purchase.

Please note that bonus points will be automatically credited to the Member’s account, but may not appear until the Member’s next quarterly statement (Members are advised to contact Customer Services if their account has not been updated within 3 months of the qualifying transaction(s)).
