HOW TO PURCHASE
In order to make purchases through the site WWW.ELALONDON.COM, you will be requested to register and provide your personal details. In particular, customers must provide their real name, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.
Purchase on the site is available only to individuals and others who meet the E L A London terms of eligibility, who have been issued a valid credit card by a bank acceptable to E L A London, whose applications are acceptable to E L A London and who have authorised E L A London to process a charge or charges on their credit card in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase (see Payment). Purchases made on the site are for the personal or gift use of the buyer only and are not to be used for re-sale, commercial purposes or any other commercial benefit. E L A London reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.
Moreover, by making an offer to purchase merchandise, you expressly authorise us to perform credit checks and, to authenticate your identity, to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions.
ORDERS - TAXES
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. E L A London offers products for sale that are mostly in stock and available for dispatch from our stores . All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The GBP price of a product displayed on the site at the time the order is accepted will be honoured.
Prices are always shown in GBP and are inclusive of duty but not shipping fees (FREE shipping on all international orders over £150) and (FREE shipping on all UK orders)
Please note that all transactions will be in GBP. The final price for overseas customers will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your credit card company processes the transaction.
ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ORDER
Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This email is NOT an acceptance of your order.
Unless you cancel your order in accordance with our Cancellation policy below, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and E L A London will be perfected when we dispatch the goods to you.
E L A London reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set-out above.
Furthermore, E L A London may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. E L A London will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from the Site whether or not that merchandise has been sold; removing, screening or editing any materials or content on the Site; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.
Payment can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, PAYPAL . Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon receipt of your order by E L A London. You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer.
If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to E L A London, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.
SHIPPING RATES AND POLICIES
E L A London offers delivery to more than 100 countries around the world as indicated on the order form.We endeavour to dispatch all orders within 72 hours, however, please allow up to 5 - 7 days for delivery as external factors may cause delays.
Your order will be shipped once:
i) Payment has been approved.
ii) The delivery/billing address has been verified.
In calculating when your order will arrive, start with the day in which both these prerequisites have been met and count only business days thereafter.
Shipping costs will be calculated depending on the size, weight and destination of your package. All shipping is handled by E L A London carrier partners FEDEX, DHL and Post office.
The following table is only an indication of shipping costs; actual costs depend on the size and weight configuration of the merchandise purchased.
Due to the high volume of shipments during Christmas period, we inform our clients that some delays on deliveries may occur . Orders will be handled by from our staff as usual, however they may not be delivered on time due to the shipping line, which is –during Christmas period- overcrowded. Please, allow our forwarders some extra time to deliver your goods. We thank you for your patience and understanding and hope this will not cause you any major troubles.

Shipments (for International Shipments): Shipment is intended ex-works. You are responsible for any additional taxes and duties. E L A London is not responsible for any fees charged by customs. If you decide to refuse any shipments from E L A London, you are responsible for the original shipping charges to you, any duties, taxes and/or customs charges that are incurred on the package (on both the original and return shipments), and the cost of returning the package to E L A London. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.
E L A London insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to you. You will be asked to sign for any goods delivered at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you.
CANCELLATION, RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please notify us within 7 days. We will exchange or substitute it according to availability.
To arrange a return, if the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please email us on SUPPORT@ELALONDON.COM quoting your name and address, details of the product (style ref.), the reason for return.
We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. We will not process claims for goods received as faulty after this period of time.
The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. We cannot be held responsible for returns that are lost in transit.
If you are returning an item to us for a refund or an exchange , then the cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.
Your original postage costs will not be refunded unless the item you received was sent in error or is faulty (providing we are notified of faults within 7 days of receipt).
All products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packing and be in an unworn condition. We will not refund goods that have been worn, do not have their original packaging or show obvious signs of abuse.
In the event of any failure to return any goods to us within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.
Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the UNITED KINGDOM AREA.
Please be advised that the E L A London E-Boutique Does NOT Offer Returns on any SALE/Discounted items. We kindly ask that you consider your items carefully before making a purchase. Sale items are FINAL SALE.
E L A London offers a FREE repair for damaged items within 1 months from the purchase date. In order to arrange the return shipping, please contact SUPPORT@ELALONDON.COM and inform us with the style ref. and the date of purchase. Please be also aware that any shipping/duties and taxes fee is under your own responsibility. Repairs do not come with any guarantees.
Any purchases during the designated dates of Black Friday are NON Refundable and NON Exchangeable especially on Jewellery - On Fashion Items we will be able to exchange the size ONLY if available. All products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packing and be in an unworn condition.
